normally, my dad and i sail up the connecticut river on one of the weekends in october...i was extremely disappointed when i found out it could not happen this year for various reasons (at the beginning of the month i was sick and then it turned out something on the boat needs to be fixed, some sort of mechanical failure, which can fixed only when the boat gets taken out of the water this winter)
instead, here are some pictures i took with my holga camera of our father/daughter sailing trip three octobers ago:
